Jennifer M. Bonfilio, CRR-RMR-CBC-CCP, President of NJCaptions, began her captioning career after working as a court reporter for 16 years. She started out as a CART provider for a deaf student attending Princeton University from 1994-1999. Jennifer is a self-taught realtime writer.

On-site Sports Stadium/Arena Captioning, On-Site CART for Meetings & Conventions,
and Closed-Captioning for Television Programming.
In addition to her busy programming schedule, Jennifer has presented seminars on Realtime, CART, Broadcast Captioning & Stadium Captioning for the last several years. She has also written a series of articles for her state's court reporting newsletter, NCRA's Captioning Corner, as well as a variety of newsletters and magazines related to the field of court reporting, captioning, stadium technology and deaf and hard-of-hearing advocacy.
NJCaptions also provides captioning & CART training, as well as sports captioning training. Jennifer is the co-founder and moderator of the Broadcast Captioners group on Yahoo! and continues to serve on NCRA's Captioning Community of Interest. In addition, Jennifer is a certified Eclipse AccuCap trainer and works with captioners to give them a better understanding of their software by providing individual and group training sessions.
When she's not working, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her life partner, her two pugs, and her cat. She loves biking, yoga, racquetball, and swimming.
